Veli Talat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artun Balta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. In the 9th minute Mehmet Çağrı Pakel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdulkerim İdris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Macit Hafi in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artun Balta saved Dumlupinar from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Artun Balta successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 18th minute, Ali Macit Hafi made a precise shot to the right of Artun Balta. Dumlupinar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Mehmet Çağrı Pakel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Atkaracalar's zone, Mehmet Çağrı Pakel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdulkerim İdris came out of the goal and Mehmet Çağrı Pakel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saltuk Şömel hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Artun Balta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Macit Hafi in the 30th minute of the match. Umut Kutlualp hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Mehmet Çağrı Pakel struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Abdulkerim İdris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dumlupinar. If Ali Macit Hafi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yakut İslam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artun Balta having to interfere. Artun Balta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Macit Hafi in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Yakut İslam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 58 minutes, Ahmet Nedim Özyuva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dumlupinar and the Atkaracalar players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 58 played minutes Dumlupinar got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Nedim Özyuva. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, Atkaracalar's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Çağrı Pakel came free, but Abdulkerim İdris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 80 played minutes Atkaracalar got a freekick which was hit by Veli Talat. After having played for 84 minutes, Mehmet Çağrı Pakel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dumlupinar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mehmet Çağrı Pakel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute, Kaan Ongar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Dumlupinar players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Atkaracalar.
