Sorgun's Halit Canser proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Sorgun from getting a goal against them. Cankut Nurtekin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tansu Boz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Halit Canser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rüstem Yetik, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Erenay Nezihi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Sorgun booed when Yenikapi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rüstem Yetik didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rüstem Yetik stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Rüstem Yetik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yenikapi's supporters rose to their feet, but Rüstem Yetik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Halit Canser breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cankut Nurtekin hit a great ball. In the 91st match minute, Yenikapi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halit Torum to maneuver through the defense. After 92 minutes of play, Sorgun's Cankut Nurtekin made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tansu Boz was left in no man's land by his defense there!
