Hulki Tunçkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kemal Tezkan having to interfere. In the 15th minute Burhan Eke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdi Saygın Aynacıoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mahir Balamir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mahir Balamir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Kemal Tezkan made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hulki Tunçkan in the 30th minute of play forced Çepnistan FC's goalkeeper Kemal Tezkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Mahir Balamir managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sahilevleri FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Mahir Balamir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kemal Tezkan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hulki Tunçkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Burhan Eke was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hulki Tunçkan in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kemal Tezkan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Burhan Eke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burhan Eke in the 59th minute of play forced Sahilevleri FK's goalkeeper Abdi Saygın Aynacıoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hulki Tunçkan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kemal Tezkan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Sahilevleri FK's Mahir Balamir got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Hulki Tunçkan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kemal Tezkan was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Çepnistan FC's zone, Mahir Balamir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After having played for 76 minutes, Hulki Tunçkan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sahilevleri FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hulki Tunçkan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Çepnistan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mahir Balamir came free, but Kemal Tezkan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Burhan Eke struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Abdi Saygın Aynacıoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Çepnistan FC. Abdi Saygın Aynacıoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Asaf Sungur, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute Hulki Tunçkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kemal Tezkan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sahilevleri FK's Hüsmen Özen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kemal Tezkan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
