Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Akil Uygar kicked off to start the match. After 4 played minutes Galata FK got a freekick which was hit by Alp Taşgan. Hakkı Balaban's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sezer Aytuğ read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Türker Şanberk hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Zafer Durusoy took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Akın Özbey. Akın Özbey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Galata FK's Akın Özbey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şensoy Tümer in the 33rd minute of play. Zafer Durusoy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Cemisgezek were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zafer Durusoy made a kick off. Akın Özbey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zafer Durusoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Akil Uygar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Sezer Aytuğ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Şensoy Tümer got free with Akın Özbey in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zafer Durusoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Akın Özbey having to interfere. Azmi Mücip hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. When Galata FK's Akil Uygar in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cemisgezek's goalie prevented a goal. Hakkı Balaban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Sezer Aytuğ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zafer Durusoy received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Akın Özbey came out and tried to block the shot, but Zafer Durusoy slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 81st minute. In the 84th minute, Şensoy Tümer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Galata FK's Akın Özbey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Galata FK from getting a goal against them. After 90 played minutes Galata FK got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Oğuz İsmail. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Galata FK's goalkeeper Akın Özbey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Galata FK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cemisgezek's performance. The match ended with a win for Cemisgezek.
