Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hayyam Ulunay got the match started through his kick off. Galatasaray SK's İskender Eracar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Harun Eryiğit in the 9th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Saip Ülgen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bursaspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Saip Ülgen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. İskender Eracar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Galatasaray SK's Hayyam Ulunay got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bursaspor's Güneş Gezer got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Galatasaray SK's Hayyam Ulunay got a free kick in the 24th minute. Şamil Ersalmış sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hayyam Ulunay struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Mehmet Edip Sezgin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galatasaray SK. İskender Eracar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saip Ülgen in the 34th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Güneş Gezer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bursaspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Güneş Gezer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. İskender Eracar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Şamil Ersalmış recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ahmet Harun Eryiğit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. İskender Eracar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Güneş Gezer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Bursaspor's Saip Ülgen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that İskender Eracar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Şamil Ersalmış to make the kick off. Mehmet Edip Sezgin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hayyam Ulunay in the 56th minute of the match. If Ahmet Harun Eryiğit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Güneş Gezer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving İskender Eracar. That made the score 0-1 in the 72 minute of play. Saip Ülgen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İskender Eracar having to interfere. Şamil Ersalmış recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Güneş Gezer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but İskender Eracar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Hayyam Ulunay's late challenge caught a Bursaspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hayyam Ulunay helped the player get up and apologised. Hayyam Ulunay hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. When Bursaspor's Güneş Gezer in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Galatasaray SK's goalie prevented a goal. The Galatasaray SK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bursaspor were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
