If Umur Talayman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 16 minutes, Şamil Ersalmış mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bursaspor and the Gaziemir Gücü FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ergün Toregün fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Edip Sezgin having to interfere. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Umur Talayman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Edip Sezgin having to interfere. Umur Talayman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Umur Talayman came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Gaziemir Gücü FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Umur Talayman couldn't finish the play. Ergün Toregün could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Mehmet Edip Sezgin made a huge save. Gaziemir Gücü FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
