Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hayyam Ulunay took the kick off in the first half of the match. İskender Eracar came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Gaziemir Gücü FC's Recai İdil. But to his dismay, Recai İdil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 6 minutes into the game, Gaziemir Gücü FC's Ergün Toregün nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. İskender Eracar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. İskender Eracar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Umur Talayman in the 9th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Galatasaray SK's goal looked a bit too open when Ergün Toregün came free, but İskender Eracar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. İskender Eracar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Numan Balısoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. İskender Eracar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ergün Toregün in the 16th minute of the match. İskender Eracar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Umur Talayman's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. After 22 minutes of play, Gaziemir Gücü FC's Ergün Toregün made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. İskender Eracar was left in no man's land by his defense there! 28 minutes into the match, Ergün Toregün had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of İskender Eracar. Galatasaray SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ergün Toregün was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Galatasaray SK's goalkeeper İskender Eracar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Umur Talayman in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg İskender Eracar saved Galatasaray SK from getting behind. Umur Talayman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ergün Toregün in the 45th minute of play forced Galatasaray SK's goalkeeper İskender Eracar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Umur Talayman to make the kick off. Ergün Toregün struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. İskender Eracar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gaziemir Gücü FC. Umur Talayman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but İskender Eracar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Umur Talayman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. İskender Eracar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ergün Toregün received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. İskender Eracar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee ignored Gaziemir Gücü FC's protests and gave Recai İdil a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th match minute, Gaziemir Gücü FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Recai İdil to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Işıkalp Kartal during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Gaziemir Gücü FC booed when Galatasaray SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Işıkalp Kartal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ergün Toregün succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 71st playminute. After a defensive mix-up in Galatasaray SK's zone, Recai İdil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. İskender Eracar came out of the goal and Recai İdil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ergün Toregün's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but İskender Eracar firmly grabbed it by the left post. 86 minutes into the match, Oğuzalp Başayoğlu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of İskender Eracar, 0-6. Arif Çelebi Ekin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. İskender Eracar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ergün Toregün got free with İskender Eracar in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded Gaziemir Gücü FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Galatasaray SK.
