Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Bornova's Nedim Tahsin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Nedim Tahsin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Onuralp Özgen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute, İlmi Adıgüzel fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Midyat FK's Onuralp Özgen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tolga Yavuzay in the 8th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Tolga Yavuzay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Onuralp Özgen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 16th minute of the match Cumhur Nurettin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Onuralp Özgen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Bornova's goal looked a bit too open when Ersan Kazan came free, but Mustafa Ali Zaim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tolga Yavuzay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Onuralp Özgen having to interfere. Melih Cevdet Yavuzalp kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After 28 played minutes Bornova got a freekick which was hit by Abdulkerim Hatip. When İlmi Adıgüzel came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Midyat FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İlmi Adıgüzel couldn't finish the play. Abdulkerim Hatip charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abdulkerim Hatip the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 31 played minutes Bornova got a freekick which was hit by Abdulkerim Hatip. Ersan Kazan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mustafa Ali Zaim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Nedim Tahsin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, Bornova's Tolga Yavuzay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Onuralp Özgen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Midyat FK getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Melih Cevdet Yavuzalp hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute Tolga Yavuzay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Onuralp Özgen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Onuralp Özgen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nedim Tahsin's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After the first half Bornova were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ersan Kazan was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Bornova got a freekick which was hit by Vecdi Önen. Onuralp Özgen came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Bornova's Tolga Yavuzay. But to his dismay, Tolga Yavuzay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bornova! After having played for 68 minutes, Tolga Yavuzay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bornova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tolga Yavuzay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute Denizhan Özarkın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Onuralp Özgen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Denizhan Özarkın came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Bornova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denizhan Özarkın couldn't finish the play. Nedim Tahsin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Onuralp Özgen having to interfere. Tolga Yavuzay might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Onuralp Özgen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tolga Yavuzay ran back to his position shaking his head. Bornova's Nedim Tahsin got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Bornova's Nedim Tahsin in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Midyat FK's goalie prevented a goal. Onuralp Özgen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nedim Tahsin's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Onuralp Özgen was a little too slow when Tolga Yavuzay got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 1-3. The Midyat FK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bornova were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
