After a defensive mix-up in Bogazkale's zone, Hurşit Yeğrek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ergin Karlukhan came out of the goal and Hurşit Yeğrek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sabri Tutku to strike the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Gürhan Serkut successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
