Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ertan Ülküsel started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saruhan Erguvan in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Haluk Temizkal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 10th minute Saruhan Erguvan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haluk Temizkal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 minutes, Acar Akşin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kurtulus FK and the Kavaklidere players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Kurtulus FK getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Acar Akşin hit a great ball. If Yaşar Nuri Tekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Özdemir Tekalp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Berker Rıza Ünsevin's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. The Kurtulus FK fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Kurtulus FK's Ertan Ülküsel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Artun Recep kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Kavaklidere's Yaşar Nuri Tekin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Haluk Temizkal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Berker Rıza Ünsevin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Özdemir Tekalp having to make a save. A collision led to Kavaklidere getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Saruhan Erguvan hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saadettin Gültekin during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yaşar Nuri Tekin to strike the kick off in the second half. After 58 played minutes Kavaklidere got a freekick which was hit by Songur Bekiroğlu. Berker Rıza Ünsevin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Kavaklidere getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Saadettin Gültekin hit a great ball. In the 67th minute, Kurtulus FK's Ertan Ülküsel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. When Battal Seyyit Cemşit fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kavaklidere's protests and gave Battal Seyyit Cemşit a yellow card for diving instead. Battal Seyyit Cemşit hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Berker Rıza Ünsevin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özdemir Tekalp having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Kavaklidere's goal looked a bit too open when Ertan Ülküsel came free, but Özdemir Tekalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 79 played minutes Ertan Ülküsel rounded Kavaklidere's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-4. After a rather tough play, Kurtulus FK's Ahmet Ömür Tonguç got a free kick in the 89th minute. If Yaşar Nuri Tekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Kurtulus FK getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Ercan Mengücek hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Kurtulus FK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
