Gölova JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Candir the free kick. The supporters of Candir booed when Gölova JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Güneş Satır didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Tansu Yalazan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tahir Talik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Afşin Çelebioğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Arif Bilge Otay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Türker Kabak hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Fethi İmam was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 22nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Afşin Çelebioğlu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tahir Talik in the 23rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tahir Talik got free with Afşin Çelebioğlu in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hurşit Tuğsan took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Necat Saner. Necat Saner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Tahir Talik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afşin Çelebioğlu having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Hüsmen Saik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atak Orgunalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Afşin Çelebioğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hurşit Tuğsan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Gölova JK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tahir Talik to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Gölova JK's Ömür Okanay ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Necat Saner. Necat Saner yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. If Ömür Okanay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gölova JK's Ömür Okanay got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ömür Okanay who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Necat Saner when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 61st minute, Tahir Talik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Türker Kabak kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Atak Orgunalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Afşin Çelebioğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afşin Çelebioğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tahir Talik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Candir's zone, Ömür Okanay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Necat Saner came out of the goal and Ömür Okanay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Gölova JK booed when Candir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Işıkalp Erşahin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Necat Saner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hurşit Tuğsan, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Tahir Talik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
