Göktan Nesip took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vatan Kızılateş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Akyurt's Vatan Kızılateş in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Azdavay's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kasım Ulucağ in the 11th minute of play forced Azdavay's goalkeeper Göktan Nesip to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vatan Kızılateş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Göktan Nesip tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 20 minutes, Vatan Kızılateş made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Azdavay's Göktan Nesip tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th minute Vatan Kızılateş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göktan Nesip saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute Selman Saip shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göktan Nesip saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Göktürk İspinoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göktan Nesip having to interfere. Göktan Nesip showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vatan Kızılateş in the 49th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gafur Olcaytu to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Kasım Ulucağ shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göktan Nesip saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taha Vefik in the 54th minute of play forced Akyurt's goalkeeper Cihangir Akdiken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Göktan Nesip managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Akyurt's Vatan Kızılateş fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 62 minutes into the match, Azdavay's goalkeeper Göktan Nesip had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Göktürk İspinoz. After some careless play in the Azdavay defense, Vatan Kızılateş kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Göktan Nesip. The Azdavay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Göktan Nesip should have stopped the shot. 66 minutes into the match, Akyurt's goal looked a bit too open when Gafur Olcaytu came free, but Cihangir Akdiken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 68 minutes into the game, when Hüseyin Rahmi Suay put in a rough tackle. The supporters of Azdavay booed when Akyurt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hüseyin Rahmi Suay didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Göktürk İspinoz got free with Göktan Nesip in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kasım Ulucağ in the 77th minute of play forced Azdavay's goalkeeper Göktan Nesip to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Azdavay's Ragıp Uygan got a free kick in the 91st minute. Akyurt were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after Azdavay's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Göktürk İspinoz took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Göktürk İspinoz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Göktan Nesip quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Kasım Ulucağ charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kasım Ulucağ the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 97th match minute, Akyurt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kasım Ulucağ to maneuver through the defense. The Azdavay fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Akyurt were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
