Aykan Uluant made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Coşkun Kutel sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niyazi Tayguner got free with Aykan Uluant in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 14 minutes into the match, Sogukkuyu's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Turan Şahbazoğlu came free, but Aykan Uluant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mehmet Özveren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Mehmet Özveren notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Melikgazi's Mücahit Karabulut. Mücahit Karabulut was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Atıf Balcıoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Sogukkuyu's Aykan Uluant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uğurcan Ongu in the 36th minute of play. Bilgin Tecen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mücahit Karabulut read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Sogukkuyu's goal looked a bit too open when Uğurcan Ongu came free, but Aykan Uluant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 47 played minutes Sogukkuyu got a freekick which was hit by Fatih Yuluğ. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Uğurcan Ongu made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Melikgazi got a freekick which was hit by Niyazi Tayguner. 59 minutes into the match, Sogukkuyu's goal looked a bit too open when Başar Mutlu came free, but Aykan Uluant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aykan Uluant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Başar Mutlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Uğurcan Ongu notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Sogukkuyu's Aykan Uluant. Aykan Uluant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bilgin Tecen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Mücahit Karabulut made a huge save. 69 minutes into the game, Ceyhan Şahdar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sogukkuyu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Melikgazi the free kick. Aykan Uluant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Başar Mutlu in the 72nd minute of play. Mehmet Özveren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Mücahit Karabulut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute Seyrani Muhammed shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aykan Uluant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aykan Uluant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Coşkun Kutel in the 81st minute of the match. After 86 minutes of play Melikgazi's Coşkun Kutel was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 86th minute, Coşkun Kutel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the game, Melikgazi's Niyazi Tayguner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aykan Uluant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Sogukkuyu's Fatih Yuluğ got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 97 minutes into the match, Melikgazi's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Özveren came free, but Mücahit Karabulut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melikgazi's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
