Mustafa Numan Cerme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Edip Perkel, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. If Ahmet Sedat Ballıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th match minute, GİRESUNSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilla Kağan Özol to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute, Aysan Tecik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 40 minutes, Nejat Özçınar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Burgazada SK and the GİRESUNSPOR players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mustafa Numan Cerme was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 84 minutes into the match, GİRESUNSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Arif Memduh Toper came free, but Bedih Akbuğ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emir Ocakçı kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. If Mehmet Edip Perkel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute.
