Fikri Serhad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11thth minute of the game Yetkin Demiroğlu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Diyadin SK's Gökhan Zikri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fikri Serhad struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Gökhan Zikri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dumlupinar FK. 32 minutes into the match, Yetkin Demiroğlu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gökhan Zikri, 1-0. Hasan Tahsin Ekincioğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paşa Ali Tacik having to interfere. Ersin Kelim hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Fikri Serhad's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Gökhan Zikri skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Halit Şahinalp hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yetkin Demiroğlu in the 48th minute of play forced Diyadin SK's goalkeeper Gökhan Zikri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hasan Tahsin Ekincioğlu to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Fikri Serhad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dumlupinar FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fikri Serhad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yetkin Demiroğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gökhan Zikri having to interfere. When Fikri Serhad came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Dumlupinar FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fikri Serhad couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute, Ersin Kelim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Diyadin SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. With a little luck, Dumlupinar FK's Paşa Ali Tacik got control of the ball when Ersin Kelim tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 70th minute, Yetkin Demiroğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ersin Kelim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Paşa Ali Tacik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paşa Ali Tacik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hasan Tahsin Ekincioğlu in the 79th minute of play. Yetkin Demiroğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Gökhan Zikri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ersin Kelims short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Paşa Ali Tacik to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 88 minutes into the match, Dumlupinar FK's goal looked a bit too open when Hasan Tahsin Ekincioğlu came free, but Paşa Ali Tacik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute Yetkin Demiroğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gökhan Zikri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diyadin SK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
