The goal made the score 1-0. After a rather tough play, Cide JK's Mustafa Arif Keçili got a free kick in the 9th minute. After having played for 11 minutes, Ahmet Asım Altunay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cide JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Asım Altunay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cide JK's Cemalettin Demirman got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emir Özbir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Asım Altunay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cide JK's Ahmet Asım Altunay got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cemalettin Demirman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hidayet Cemre came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Sivas FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hidayet Cemre couldn't finish the play. Ahmet Asım Altunay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emir Özbir having to interfere. Emir Özbir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cemalettin Demirman in the 33rd minute of the match. After 34 minutes of play, Cide JK's Ahmet Asım Altunay made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emir Özbir was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Göktan Koytan came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Sivas FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Göktan Koytan couldn't finish the play. If Kutalp Sebil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kutalp Sebil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Cankut Rafiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kutalp Sebil to strike the kick off in the second half. Kamer Ergunalp hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the match, Cide JK's Cemalettin Demirman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emir Özbir narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cankut Rafiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hidayet Cemre in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kutalp Sebil in the 69th minute of play forced Cide JK's goalkeeper Cankut Rafiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emir Özbir was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Cemalettin Demirman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cemalettin Demirman really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ekber Turay during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 78 played minutes Sivas FK got a freekick which was hit by Ekber Turay. Ahmet Asım Altunay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emir Özbir having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Cemalettin Demirman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Cemalettin Demirman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cide JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Cemalettin Demirman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emir Özbir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cide JK's Cemalettin Demirman got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had been going on for 97 minutes, Cide JK's Nazım Nuh got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Emir Özbir.
