The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 minutes, Baha Demirkan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ENES and the Aydinspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, Aydinspor's Sungur Reşit tried to score from far away in the 6th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ejder Kuter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tayyar Çakıroğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Aydinspor's Şansal Ergül, in the 11th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Aydinspor. Tayyar Çakıroğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Şansal Ergül got in the 16th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Ejder Kuter handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 17th minute Tayyar Çakıroğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ejder Kuter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kıvanç Ümit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind ENES's goalkeeper Ejder Kuter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ejder Kuter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tayyar Çakıroğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. If Şansal Ergül had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tayyar Çakıroğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ejder Kuter having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Baha Demirkan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ejder Kuter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tayyar Çakıroğlu in the 46th minute of play. ENES's Ejder Kuter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kutay Soner in the 49th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tayyar Çakıroğlu was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Tayyar Çakıroğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ejder Kuter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, ENES's goal looked a bit too open when Tayyar Çakıroğlu came free, but Ejder Kuter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. İhsan Tandoğdu's late challenge caught a ENES's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. İhsan Tandoğdu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd match minute, Aydinspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İhsan Tandoğdu to maneuver through the defense. Mücahit Kayacan hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Erkut Türksan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vahap Akkuş in the 73rd minute of the match. Şansal Ergül struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Ejder Kuter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aydinspor. Gürol Ulubaş kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Erkut Türksan came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by ENES's Vahap Akkuş. But to his dismay, Vahap Akkuş quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Şansal Ergül struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Ejder Kuter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aydinspor. Tayyar Çakıroğlu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Ejder Kuter when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tayyar Çakıroğlu in the 96th minute of play forced ENES's goalkeeper Ejder Kuter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Şansal Ergül sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
