Oran JK's Şensoy Vehbi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Akif Buyrukalp in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Oran JK's Kerem Budak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kuddusî Üstündağ narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Mardin booed when Oran JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hasan Ali Yazıcıoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kerem Budak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Kuddusî Üstündağ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Ovando Senqui got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st minute, Varol Rebi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kuddusî Üstündağ took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovando Senqui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oran JK's Şensoy Vehbi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sancar Kutuner in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute Mehmet Akif Buyrukalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şensoy Vehbi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kuddusî Üstündağ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovando Senqui in the 44th minute of play. Kuddusî Üstündağ came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Oran JK's Kerem Budak. But to his dismay, Kerem Budak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ovando Senqui was the one to do the kick off. Ovando Senqui's late challenge caught a Mardin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ovando Senqui helped the player get up and apologised. After 63 played minutes Oran JK got a freekick which was hit by Ovando Senqui. Kerem Budak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kuddusî Üstündağ having to interfere. Oran JK's Ovando Senqui got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bilal Metehan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Kerem Budak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes in the game, Ovando Senqui fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Kuddusî Üstündağ having to interfere. A collision led to Oran JK getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Rudolf van Asseldonk hit a great ball. Ovando Senqui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kuddusî Üstündağ having to interfere. Ovando Senqui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kuddusî Üstündağ made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kerem Budak in the 93rd minute. When the match was over Oran JK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mardin throughout the match.
