An unexpectedly hard shot by Müjdat Düden in the 27th minute of play forced Basmakci SK's goalkeeper Sezen Türkcan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esen Birdal scored 0-3 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sezen Türkcan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Müjdat Düden came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the YNWA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Müjdat Düden couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Esen Birdal in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sezen Türkcan saved Basmakci SK from getting behind. After 33 played minutes Basmakci SK got a freekick which was hit by Alkan Ağca. Müjdat Düden hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Basmakci SK's Sezen Türkcan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esen Birdal in the 39th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Basmakci SK's zone, Esen Birdal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sezen Türkcan came out of the goal and Esen Birdal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 47 minutes into the match, Esen Birdal notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Basmakci SK's Sezen Türkcan. Sezen Türkcan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Orçun Taran was the one to do the kick off. Esen Birdal struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Sezen Türkcan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for YNWA. Esen Birdals short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Sezen Türkcan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hüseyin Turan Sebukalp's late challenge caught a YNWA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. A long shot from Müjdat Düden in the 90th minute of play was well struck, but Sezen Türkcan made a really good save at the right post. 92 minutes into the match, YNWA's Esen Birdal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sezen Türkcan narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
