But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafet Erseç couldn't finish the play. kaya Enginalps short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Cevdet Geçim to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Ali Asım Hayırlı was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ali Asım Oncubay showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 92 minute of play.
