Birol Müslim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vacid İlkay, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Divrigi's goalkeeper Birol Müslim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 21st minute Vacid İlkay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birol Müslim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Birol Müslim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vacid İlkay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bora Han Boran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the game, Bora Han Boran cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Birol Müslim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Vacid İlkay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Divrigi getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Faruk Kemalettin hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vacid İlkay made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Bora Han Boran cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Birol Müslim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bora Han Boran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birol Müslim having to interfere. Bora Han Boran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Birol Müslim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bora Han Boran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birol Müslim having to interfere. Vacid İlkay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Harbiye's zone, Erman Ünüvar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustafa Emre Tuney came out of the goal and Erman Ünüvar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vacid İlkay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birol Müslim having to interfere. In the 77th match minute, Harbiye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bora Han Boran to maneuver through the defense. Halil Vatansever blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Birol Müslim having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celalettin Palabıyık during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Harbiye getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Celalettin Palabıyık hit a great ball. Birol Müslim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vacid İlkay in the 91st minute of the match. Harbiye played a much better game than Divrigi and deserved their victory. The Divrigi players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
