The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Işıkalp Memduh fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kulu's protests and gave Işıkalp Memduh a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Yenisanayi SK booed when Kulu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Işıkalp Memduh didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fahrettin Özgenalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fazıl Aktay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hüsrev Mübarek went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Ziya Onur Sırat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Turabi Tara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Turabi Tara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Işıkalp Memduh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sermet Okay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fahrettin Özgenalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fazıl Aktay having to interfere. If Hüsrev Mübarek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Yenisanayi SK's Turabi Tara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Işıkalp Memduh in the 41st minute of play. Yenisanayi SK's Fahrettin Özgenalp was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 46th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hüsrev Mübarek was the one to do the kick off. Hüsrev Mübarek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sermet Okay kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Arif Bilge Babacan's late challenge caught a Yenisanayi SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 87thth minute of the game Hüsrev Mübarek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kulu's Fazıl Aktay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Turabi Tara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ziya Onur Sırat in the 95th minute of the match. Hüsrev Mübarek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Fazıl Aktay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kulu's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
