Bora Olcaytu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulu Kurban in the 3rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kutalp Canal in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Necat Nurdag prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fahrettin Öğeturk hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After having played for 11 minutes, Ulu Kurban managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bahceköy JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulu Kurban was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kutalp Canal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Necat Nurdag read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Necat Nurdag took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gürcan Gagauz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Necat Nurdag showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gürcan Gagauz in the 16th minute of the match. Arif Burak Sahir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Necat Nurdag took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gürcan Gagauz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Fahrettin Öğeturk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute, Nihat Türcan sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kapalicarsi JK's Bora Olcaytu didn't even have to move. 33 minutes into the match, Bahceköy JK's Ulu Kurban sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bora Olcaytu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Kapalicarsi JK's goal looked a bit too open when Ulu Kurban came free, but Bora Olcaytu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gürcan Gagauz struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Necat Nurdag didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kapalicarsi JK. 47 minutes into the match, Bahceköy JK's goal looked a bit too open when Kutalp Canal came free, but Necat Nurdag reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ulu Kurban was the one to do the kick off. Ulu Kurban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bora Olcaytu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulu Kurban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulu Kurban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Bora Olcaytu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bora Olcaytu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Burak Sahir in the 61st minute of play. Ulu Kurban might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bora Olcaytu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ulu Kurban ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kayhan Nezir got free with Necat Nurdag in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Kutalp Canal came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Kapalicarsi JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kutalp Canal couldn't finish the play. Bora Olcaytu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arif Burak Sahir in the 79th minute of the match. When Ulu Kurban came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Bahceköy JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulu Kurban couldn't finish the play. Necat Nurdag was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gürcan Gagauz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 88 minute of play. The Kapalicarsi JK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kapalicarsi JK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
