The referee ignored Kazan JK's protests and gave Seçkin Bahar a yellow card for diving instead. Celil Özberk charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celil Özberk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sarigöl FK booed when Kazan JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celil Özberk didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Kazan JK getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Celil Özberk hit a great ball. With a little luck, Sarigöl FK's Alemdar Barkan got control of the ball when Arda Baybars Muhtar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kadir Işın got his second yellow card in the match during the 32nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Kadir Işın hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After having played for 34 minutes, Mesut Adıbelli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sarigöl FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mesut Adıbelli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Arda Baybars Muhtar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kazan JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Arda Baybars Muhtar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alemdar Barkan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aycan Seyfeddin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 43rd played minute, shot the ball from way out.
