Gürsel Oğuzhan made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Ahmet Fikret Mecit sent off a good shot on target. Latif Ünals short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Gürsel Oğuzhan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of NOVAFENERBAHÇE SK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Viransehir FK:s goal. In the 19th minute of the game, Viransehir FK got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. The Viransehir FK fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Viransehir FK's Latif Ünal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Sancar Semi managed to get in a good position for a shot. NOVAFENERBAHÇE SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Sancar Semi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barbaros Tolgan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 32ndth minute of the game Sancar Semi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Viransehir FK's Barbaros Tolgan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sancar Semi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sancar Semi to make the kick off. With a little luck, Viransehir FK's Barbaros Tolgan got control of the ball when Sancar Semi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Baykam Yücelen took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gürsel Oğuzhan. In the 70th match minute, NOVAFENERBAHÇE SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ümit Kelami to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute of the match Gürhan Yadigar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gürsel Oğuzhan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Latif Ünal in the 78th minute of play forced NOVAFENERBAHÇE SK's goalkeeper Gürsel Oğuzhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gürsel Oğuzhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baykam Yücelen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Afşar Yağızalp's late challenge caught a Viransehir FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Afşar Yağızalp helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Viransehir FK booed when NOVAFENERBAHÇE SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afşar Yağızalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gürsel Oğuzhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Latif Ünal in the 91st minute of play.
