Samet Tarhan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Kağan Özgeer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Samet Tarhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Turgut Temizöz got a throw-in 23 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Deniz Başar. 25 minutes into the match, Reis Bağcı had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samet Tarhan. Gölbasi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reis Bağcı was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Gölbasi's attentive Deniz Başar managed to snatch the ball when Ali Akel made a throw-in in the 31st minute of the game. If Deniz Başar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reis Bağcı hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The Gölbasi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ERZURUM SPOR were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aygün Bağış made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Aygün Bağış shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samet Tarhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Hami Tuğkan in the 77th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ERZURUM SPOR's Reis Bağcı. A collision led to Gölbasi getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Aydemir Arslanşah hit a great ball. Semi Baştürk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Samet Tarhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aygün Bağış in the 87th minute of the match. Ali Erdem Bülbül kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The ERZURUM SPOR supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ERZURUM SPOR would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
