Cengiz Toygun's late challenge caught a Gümüssuyu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cengiz Toygun helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th minute, Cengiz Toygun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Songurbey Şensal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kemal Samim having to interfere. Rıfkı Coşkuner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Kemal Samim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eyüp Kapar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bayram Tanyeli in the 33rd minute of play. Alaaddin Kunter might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eyüp Kapar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alaaddin Kunter ran back to his position shaking his head. Eyüp Kapar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bayram Tanyeli, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Rıfkı Coşkuner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bayram Tanyeli to strike the kick off in the second half. NE MUTLU TURKUM DİYENE's Eyüp Kapar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bayram Tanyeli in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Alaaddin Kunter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eyüp Kapar was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Alaaddin Kunter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Eyüp Kapar made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in NE MUTLU TURKUM DİYENE's zone, Alaaddin Kunter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eyüp Kapar came out of the goal and Alaaddin Kunter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bayram Tanyeli during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Songurbey Şensal managed to get in a good position for a shot. NE MUTLU TURKUM DİYENE's supporters rose to their feet, but Songurbey Şensal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kemal Samim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Gümüssuyu players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
