Gümüssuyu's Kemal Samim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feridun Onultan in the 24th minute of play. Ali Cengiz Nesip charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ali Cengiz Nesip the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Gümüssuyu getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kemal Samim showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Korhan Şahin in the 36th minute of play forced Gümüssuyu's goalkeeper Kemal Samim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the game, one of Gümüssuyu:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 41st minute there was a penalty for Karapinar FK. Batıray Teksen stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kemal Samim. 0-1. Karapinar FK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Bayram Tanyeli 45 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Feridun Onultan to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Karapinar FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Seyfi Öktuna to maneuver through the defense. Bilge Şabi came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Gümüssuyu's Bayram Tanyeli. But to his dismay, Bayram Tanyeli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 58 minutes, Özdemir Şanlı mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gümüssuyu and the Karapinar FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gümüssuyu's Özdemir Şanlı got a free kick in the 58th minute. Korhan Şahin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kemal Samim firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Bahadır Kutalmış fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gümüssuyu's protests and gave Bahadır Kutalmış a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th match minute, Gümüssuyu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bahadır Kutalmış to maneuver through the defense. Karapinar FK's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 67th minute of the game, when Şemsettin Sufi after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Gümüssuyu's goal. Şemsettin Sufi was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. The audience was convinced that Feridun Onultan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kemal Samim was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Alaaddin Kunter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Bilge Şabi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Feridun Onultan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kemal Samim having to interfere. Korhan Şahin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alaaddin Kunter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
