The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Aglasun JK defense, Serbülent Altuncuoğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ferdi Bala. The Aglasun JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ferdi Bala should have stopped the shot. Semail Sudi hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. If Umut Umural had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Aglasun JK defense, Mümtazer Köker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ferdi Bala. The Aglasun JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ferdi Bala should have stopped the shot. 18 minutes into the game, Eren Akartürk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aglasun JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KARAGUMRUK FC the free kick. Ahmet Harun Karaman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eren Akartürk in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Aglasun JK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mümtazer Köker fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Umut Umural came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the KARAGUMRUK FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Umut Umural couldn't finish the play. Umut Umural sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Mümtazer Köker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aglasun JK's Ulvi Nevzat got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ferdi Bala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mümtazer Köker, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. KARAGUMRUK FC's Mümtazer Köker got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ahmet Harun Karaman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Muharrem Özal in the 43rd minute of the match. Umut Umural struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Ferdi Bala didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KARAGUMRUK FC. Ferdi Bala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Umut Umural in the 47th minute of play.

The supporters of KARAGUMRUK FC booed when Aglasun JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Halit Fahri Ahi didn't get a good kick on the ball. KARAGUMRUK FC's Ahmet Harun Karaman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Seyhun Gemici in the 63rd minute of play. In the 96th minute Muharrem Özal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Harun Karaman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the KARAGUMRUK FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
