Silivri SK's players were relieved. After having played for 6 minutes, Ege Timurtas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Silivri SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ege Timurtas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lütfi Arabacıoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Bilge Nazır having to interfere. Bekir Erseç came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Silivri SK's Ensar Vahdettin. But to his dismay, Ensar Vahdettin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, Beşiktaş JK's goal looked a bit too open when Ege Timurtas came free, but Bekir Erseç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mehmet Bilge Nazır stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Ali Tuğbay's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute Tamer Demirsah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Bilge Nazır saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ege Timurtas during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th match minute, Silivri SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ege Timurtas to maneuver through the defense. Silivri SK's Mehmet Bilge Nazır played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tamer Demirsah in the 33rd minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Yusuf Bahadır Niyazi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Silivri SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beşiktaş JK the free kick. Yusuf Bahadır Niyazi kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. If Tamer Demirsah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ege Timurtas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Lütfi Arabacıoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Bilge Nazır saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bekir Erseç made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Ensar Vahdettin sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Ege Timurtas took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Bekir Erseç to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ege Timurtas in the 58th minute of play forced Beşiktaş JK's goalkeeper Bekir Erseç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mehmet Bilge Nazır showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Ali Tuğbay, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Tamer Demirsah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Mehmet Bilge Nazır tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Silivri SK's goal looked a bit too open when Tamer Demirsah came free, but Mehmet Bilge Nazır reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bekir Erseç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ege Timurtas in the 72nd minute of play. If Tamer Demirsah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ensar Vahdettin charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ensar Vahdettin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd minute, Ensar Vahdettin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mehmet Bilge Nazır showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lütfi Arabacıoğlu in the 84th minute of the match. Lütfi Arabacıoğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mehmet Bilge Nazır showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Ali Tuğbay in the 88th minute of the match. Lütfi Arabacıoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Bilge Nazır having to interfere. Mehmet Bilge Nazır took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tamer Demirsah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
