Ali Ömer Yersel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sami Gerdaneri having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Esenler's Bican Tecimer got a free kick in the 10th minute. Oğuz Ungan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Yılma having to interfere. Asaf Yüksel charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Asaf Yüksel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ESKİŞEHİR SK booed when Esenler was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asaf Yüksel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esenler's Ali Yılma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Menderes Şahinalp in the 17th minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Kamuran Mecnun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ESKİŞEHİR SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esenler the free kick. After a rather tough play, ESKİŞEHİR SK's Kamuran Mecnun got a free kick in the 25th minute. Asaf Yüksel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ESKİŞEHİR SK's Sami Gerdaneri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save ESKİŞEHİR SK from getting a goal against them. After recieving a nice pass, ESKİŞEHİR SK's Hüsrev Esay tried to score from far away in the 42nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of ESKİŞEHİR SK booed when Esenler was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Kağan Keçeci didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oğuz Ungan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Esenler's Süruri Sinan got a free kick in the 51st minute. 53 minutes into the game, Oğuz Ungan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ali Yılma. Oğuz Ungan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. After 57 minutes of play, Esenler's Ali Ömer Yersel made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sami Gerdaneri was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ahmet Ceyhan Onay kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 68th minute of the match, Oğuz Ungan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ali Yılma saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Menderes Şahinalp hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. When Ali Ömer Yersel came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Esenler fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Ömer Yersel couldn't finish the play. When Taha Keskinel fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ESKİŞEHİR SK's protests and gave Taha Keskinel a yellow card for diving instead. If Asaf Yüksel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sami Gerdaneri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Ömer Yersel in the 86th minute of the match. Oğuz Ungan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Ali Yılma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 89 played minutes ESKİŞEHİR SK got a freekick which was hit by Hüsrev Esay. Sami Gerdaneri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asaf Yüksel in the 92nd minute of play. The ESKİŞEHİR SK players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Esenler from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
