The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Peker Yasun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Doganhisar's Hikmet Özbilen got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Doganhisar's Peker Yasun dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Cankiri's Turgay Kudret got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cankiri's Çakabey Ergüner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Cankiri from getting a goal against them. If Hikmet Özbilen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hikmet Özbilen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Çakabey Ergüner having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Serhan Çakman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cankiri's Çakabey Ergüner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peker Yasun in the 33rd minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cankiri fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Çakabey Ergüner, was totally fooled by Doganhisar's Ahmet Nafiz Özalp, who 42 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peker Yasun to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Peker Yasun notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Cankiri's Çakabey Ergüner. Çakabey Ergüner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hikmet Özbilen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Çakabey Ergüner having to interfere. After 71 minutes of play, Cankiri's Akay Rasif made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aytuğ Cezar was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 75th minute, Turgay Kudret reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aytuğ Cezar. The goal made the score 3-3. Akay Rasif sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Turgay Kudret had several of the Doganhisar's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 91 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-4 score and a disappointed Aytuğ Cezar as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Peker Yasun came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Doganhisar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peker Yasun couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Doganhisar lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
