Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bedri Tezal started the match with the kick off. Artaç Akatay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Turabi Toprak having to interfere. Bedri Tezal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 8 played minutes Ürgüp SK got a freekick which was hit by Fehmi Serkan. Ahmet Hakan Okbaş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Ferit Altunhan having to interfere. Mehmet Ferit Altunhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vecdet Okcun in the 13th minute of the match. If Vecdet Okcun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vecdet Okcun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Mehmet Ferit Altunhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Turabi Toprak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bedri Tezal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Volkan Yağızhan charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Volkan Yağızhan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ürgüp SK's Volkan Yağızhan got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After having played for 24 minutes, Artaç Akatay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Daricaspor SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artaç Akatay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ahmet Hakan Okbaş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Ferit Altunhan having to interfere. Mehmet Ferit Altunhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vecdet Okcun in the 36th minute of play. If Bedri Tezal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, Daricaspor SK's goal looked a bit too open when Vecdet Okcun came free, but Mehmet Ferit Altunhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Artaç Akatay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vecdet Okcun to make the kick off. Ahmet Hakan Okbaş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Daricaspor SK's Mehmet Ferit Altunhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vecdet Okcun in the 67th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vecdet Okcun in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mehmet Ferit Altunhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 69th minute, Yılmaz Kotuzhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ahmet Hakan Okbaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Hakan Okbaş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Mehmet Ferit Altunhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Daricaspor SK's goalkeeper Mehmet Ferit Altunhan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 86th minute Ahmet Hakan Okbaş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Ferit Altunhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vecdet Okcun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Akın Ünsevin hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Ahmet Hakan Okbaş managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ürgüp SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Hakan Okbaş was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehmet Ferit Altunhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vecdet Okcun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Mehmet Ferit Altunhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Daricaspor SK getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Şansal Şahsuvaroğlu hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Vecdet Okcun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mehmet Ferit Altunhan was relentless in the 97th minute of the game.
