Günalp Uçman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Vahdet Ümit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulaş Batüralp kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Günalp Uçman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vahdet Ümit having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by İbrahim Ethem Yağmurdereli in the 12th minute of play forced Erzurum Spor's goalkeeper Vahdet Ümit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Erzurum Spor's goal looked a bit too open when İbrahim Ethem Yağmurdereli came free, but Vahdet Ümit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eralp Pektaşi kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Erzurum Spor's Vahdet Ümit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İbrahim Ethem Yağmurdereli in the 23rd minute of play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Süruri Baydar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Batıkan Kayhan during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Olur's Batıkan Kayhan got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, İshak Yaslı ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Süruri Baydar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 39th minute Faruk Ereken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Süruri Baydar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulaş Batüralp's late challenge caught a Olur's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulaş Batüralp helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Erzurum Spor getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Ulaş Batüralp hit a great ball. If İbrahim Ethem Yağmurdereli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 65th match minute, Olur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Hamdi Demirkan to maneuver through the defense. If İshak Yaslı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
