Mücahitler's Cumhur Acaroğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Mücahitler getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Ali Galip Eroğul hit a great ball. Necip Nesip was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 8th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 9 minutes into the game, Fahri Sıraç was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mücahitler's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Baskil the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Mücahitler:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Baskil:s goal. After having played for 13 minutes, Cumhur Acaroğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mücahitler's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cumhur Acaroğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. İsmail Akkaş made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Reşat Abanoz sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Mücahitler getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Ali Galip Eroğul hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, Mücahitler's goalkeeper İsmail Akkaş had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reşat Abanoz. After some careless play in the Mücahitler defense, Reşat Abanoz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of İsmail Akkaş. The Mücahitler fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that İsmail Akkaş should have stopped the shot. Celal Yuvakuran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mücahitler's goalkeeper İsmail Akkaş, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Armağan Yalazay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cumhur Acaroğlu in the 42nd minute of play. Armağan Yalazay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İsa Berkkan, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute, Celal Yuvakuran made a precise shot to the right of İsmail Akkaş. Mücahitler's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 60th minute, Ahmet Ceyhan Erginsoy sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Baskil's Armağan Yalazay didn't even have to move. Cumhur Acaroğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, Mücahitler's İsa Berkkan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armağan Yalazay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cumhur Acaroğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armağan Yalazay having to interfere. Cumhur Acaroğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. İsa Berkkan took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armağan Yalazay. Armağan Yalazay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Baskil's Armağan Yalazay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cumhur Acaroğlu in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute Reşat Abanoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İsmail Akkaş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. İsa Berkkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Armağan Yalazay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Baskil's Reşat Abanoz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that İsmail Akkaş narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cumhur Acaroğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Armağan Yalazay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, İsa Berkkan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mücahitler players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Baskil.
