In the 5thth minute of the game Zülfikar Eraltay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ortaköy's Dursun Ali Akarsu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mücahit Tura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şensoy Kemalettin having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Dursun Ali Akarsu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Fuat Şakir kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, Mustafa Kemal Özalpsan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Şensoy Kemalettin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Bursa getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Şahin Sendur hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Ortaköy's Engin Baysungur tried to score from far away in the 27th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Şensoy Kemalettin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mustafa Kemal Özalpsan went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Ortaköy's Mustafa Kemal Özalpsan got a free kick in the 32nd minute. A collision led to Ortaköy getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Naci Aktemur hit a great ball. In the 39th match minute, Bursa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şahin Sendur to maneuver through the defense. Mustafa Kemal Özalpsan struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Şensoy Kemalettin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ortaköy. In the 44th minute, Demiralp Özsan had to leave the field with a concussion. Demir Suni charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Demir Suni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ortaköy booed when Bursa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Demir Suni didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Bursa players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ortaköy were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mustafa Kemal Özalpsan was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Naci Aktemur during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some careless play in the Bursa defense, Mustafa Kemal Özalpsan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Şensoy Kemalettin. The Bursa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Şensoy Kemalettin should have stopped the shot. In the 92nd minute, Mustafa Kemal Özalpsan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Şensoy Kemalettin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Bursa's Şensoy Kemalettin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Bursa from getting a goal against them. When the match was over Ortaköy could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bursa throughout the match.
