The audience was convinced that Ali Asım Tülek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dinç Özaltın was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 58 played minutes Ataköy got a freekick which was hit by Kasım Çağili. With his leg Dinç Özaltın managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when LCS FC's Ali Asım Tülek fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Muammer Akçay came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the LCS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Muammer Akçay couldn't finish the play. LCS FC's Kaptan Haznedaroğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ali Asım Tülek who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Dinç Özaltın when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ataköy's Başar Karlukhan got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st match minute, Ataköy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Akgün Günden to maneuver through the defense. Dinç Özaltın was a little too slow when Muammer Akçay got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-2. Ali Asım Tülek did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Dinç Özaltın 82 minutes into the match. Muammer Akçay struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Dinç Özaltın didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LCS FC. During the 91st minute of the match Lütfü Üçer completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Lütfü Üçer a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of LCS FC booed when Ataköy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lütfü Üçer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Muammer Akçay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LCS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Muammer Akçay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ali Asım Tülek's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 96thth minute, Dinç Özaltın skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. LCS FC played a much better game than Ataköy and deserved their victory. The Ataköy players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
