Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Salih Mazlum to make the kick off. Ikitelli SK were furious when Oktay Neşet was red carded, 55 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 54 minutes into the game, one of Ikitelli SK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Salih Mazlum who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Hasan Hüseyin Rezzak when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Salih Mazlum's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hasan Hüseyin Rezzak was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Salih Mazlum managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ikitelli SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Salih Mazlum was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
