When Türker Tanyeli fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Siirt FK's protests and gave Türker Tanyeli a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Siirt FK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Yesilli a penalty, 19 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by İlhami Lemi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Siirt FK's İshak Taşgan. 0-1. İsmail Cem Soyselçuk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İshak Taşgan having to interfere. Mehmet Efe Mahsun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Soner Mertel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Siirt FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Soner Mertel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gürhan Afak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gürhan Afak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efe Bağdaş in the 47th minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Soner Mertel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gürhan Afak was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and İsmail Cem Soyselçuk made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Yesilli's zone, Soner Mertel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gürhan Afak came out of the goal and Soner Mertel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. İsmail Cem Soyselçuk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without İshak Taşgan having to make a save. When Soner Mertel came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Siirt FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Soner Mertel couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Yesilli's Ertaç Erdemir got a free kick in the 70th minute. Soner Mertel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Gürhan Afak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Soner Mertel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gürhan Afak. Yesilli's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Soner Mertel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The audience was convinced that Efe Bağdaş's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gürhan Afak was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Bayındır Mehmet Haseki kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Gürhan Afak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Soner Mertel in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Erkin Enginsoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mehmet Efe Mahsun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without İshak Taşgan having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Siirt FK had won after a very even match.
