In the 6th minute Nurtekin Olgun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kemalettin Tezalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the game, Gölbasi JK's Baykal Yücealp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arda Ufuk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Kemalettin Tezalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nurtekin Olgun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barış Akmaner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arda Ufuk having to interfere. After 20 minutes, Abdi Savtekin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KaptanSaray and the Gölbasi JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, KaptanSaray's Abdi Savtekin got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute, Baykal Yücealp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gölbasi JK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 28th minute, Ali Kaan Bostancı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Güvenç Baykara's late challenge caught a KaptanSaray's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Güvenç Baykara helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave KaptanSaray a penalty, 35 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hamit Göçer, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Gölbasi JK's Kemalettin Tezalp. 2-1. After having played for 44 minutes, Baturalp Fişek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KaptanSaray's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baturalp Fişek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Baykal Yücealp made the kick off in the second half. Ergün Tokgöz kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in KaptanSaray's zone, İsmet Selami stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arda Ufuk came out of the goal and İsmet Selami tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 55 minutes of play, Gölbasi JK's Baykal Yücealp made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arda Ufuk was left in no man's land by his defense there! Baturalp Fişek struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Kemalettin Tezalp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KaptanSaray. In the 64thth minute of the game Baykal Yücealp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KaptanSaray's Arda Ufuk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kemalettin Tezalp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nurtekin Olgun in the 70th minute. After a rather tough play, Gölbasi JK's Barış Akmaner got a free kick in the 71st minute. Arda Ufuk came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Gölbasi JK's Baykal Yücealp. But to his dismay, Baykal Yücealp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 80th minute, Baturalp Fişek reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kemalettin Tezalp. The goal made the score 4-2. Baykal Yücealp struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Arda Ufuk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gölbasi JK. After having played for 91 minutes, Barış Akmaner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gölbasi JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barış Akmaner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Gölbasi JK booed when KaptanSaray was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamit Göçer didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Gölbasi JK were the better team. Gölbasi JK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
