Oğuz Altınkaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hulusi Tümenbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Gencal Kutlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cankurtaran FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Gencal Kutlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sezgin Günden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th minute, Raik Özker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Deniz Pakkan, 14 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Cankurtaran FK's goal looked a bit too open when Seyrani İlkan came free, but Sakut Bayındır reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Seyrani İlkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Etimesgut's goalkeeper Sezgin Günden, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Hulusi Tümenbay made a precise shot to the right of Sezgin Günden. Etimesgut's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. If Gencal Kutlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hulusi Tümenbay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sezgin Günden read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Seyrani İlkan took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sakut Bayındır. Sakut Bayındır dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Seyrani İlkan struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Sakut Bayındır didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Etimesgut. Mirza Yükselir hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Gencal Kutlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Sezgin Günden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Sezgin Günden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hulusi Tümenbay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hulusi Tümenbay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Sezgin Günden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Etimesgut were furious when Ahmet Erdem İğdemir was red carded, 58 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Etimesgut:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cankurtaran FK:s goal. Sezgin Günden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gencal Kutlu in the 69th minute of play. Mirza Yükselir kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Hayri Çiftçi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sezgin Günden having to interfere. Haşmet İlcan charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Haşmet İlcan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th minute, Haşmet İlcan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gencal Kutlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sezgin Günden read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Gencal Kutlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sezgin Günden stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hulusi Tümenbay's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Gencal Kutlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sezgin Günden having to make a save. Gencal Kutlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sezgin Günden having to interfere. Sümer Ruhittin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cankurtaran FK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
