Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Güneri Yenay took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Kubat Samet fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Samsunspor SK's protests and gave Kubat Samet a yellow card for diving instead. Kubat Samet kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Buğra Selami's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 7thth minute, Güray Zakir skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Güneri Yenay in the 9th minute of play forced Şark Gençlik SK's goalkeeper Güray Zakir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Güneri Yenay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Güneri Yenay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Güray Zakir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Şark Gençlik SK's Güray Zakir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Süreyya Çubukcu in the 25th minute of play. When Ali Behzat Çelikel came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Şark Gençlik SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Behzat Çelikel couldn't finish the play. Ali Behzat Çelikel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Erkut Kutluay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yavuz Selim Usalp scored 0-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erkut Kutluay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Şark Gençlik SK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yavuz Selim Usalp made a kick off. If Güneri Yenay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yavuz Selim Usalp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ali Behzat Çelikel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Süreyya Çubukcu hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Samsunspor SK's Kubat Samet got his second yellow card of the match in the 75th minute. The referee ordered Kubat Samet off the ground. In the 76th minute, Kubat Samet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ali Behzat Çelikel came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Şark Gençlik SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Behzat Çelikel couldn't finish the play. 85 minutes into the match, Şark Gençlik SK's goal looked a bit too open when Buğra Selami came free, but Güray Zakir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Güneri Yenay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Buğra Selami had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Güray Zakir. Şark Gençlik SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Buğra Selami was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.
