Sancar Cerit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Dogubeyazit defense, Yücel Pekant kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Okanalp Akmeşe. The Dogubeyazit fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Okanalp Akmeşe should have stopped the shot. Sancar Cerit made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Haşmet Yiğit sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Polat Rıfat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sancar Cerit was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. When Fazlı Yazganalp fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cerkes's protests and gave Fazlı Yazganalp a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th match minute, Cerkes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fazlı Yazganalp to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute, Haşmet Yiğit left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dogubeyazit fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Haşmet Yiğit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 28 played minutes Haşmet Yiğit rounded Cerkes's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. Sancar Cerit was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ali Güralp İlbey. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Haşmet Yiğit put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Sancar Cerit. When Orhun Tuncal came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Cerkes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orhun Tuncal couldn't finish the play. Sancar Cerit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haşmet Yiğit in the 42nd minute of play.

The crowd rose to their feet as Orhun Tuncal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Okanalp Akmeşe. That made the score 3-2 in the 52 minute of play. Sancar Cerit stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Burak Baytüzün's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. In the 69th minute, Orhun Tuncal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Orhun Tuncal's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Okanalp Akmeşe skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sancar Cerit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haşmet Yiğit, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Haşmet Yiğit struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Sancar Cerit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dogubeyazit. Ahmet Seyfi Üstün charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ahmet Seyfi Üstün the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 86 minutes into the game, one of Dogubeyazit:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dogubeyazit's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
