After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Duran Vatansever managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mahmudiye FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Duran Vatansever was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehmet Fatih Rikap breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mehmet Fatih Rikap showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duran Vatansever, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Edip Şinasi took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mehmet Fatih Rikap. Mehmet Fatih Rikap dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. A collision led to Mahmudiye FK getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Eser Erakıncı hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şansal Usalan in the 28th minute of play forced Mahmudiye FK's goalkeeper Ziya Onur Köksan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Mahmudiye FK booed when Yüksekova FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Vaha didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute Şansal Usalan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ziya Onur Köksan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Şansal Usalan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mehmet Fatih Rikap showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duran Vatansever, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Şansal Usalan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Edip Şinasi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Fatih Rikap having to interfere. Yüksekova FK's Mehmet Fatih Rikap proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Yüksekova FK from getting a goal against them. In the 86th minute Duran Vatansever shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Fatih Rikap saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anıl Ege Asır fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ziya Onur Köksan having to interfere. Ahmet Erdem Sehriyar struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Ziya Onur Köksan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yüksekova FK. Mahmudiye FK's Ziya Onur Köksan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şansal Usalan in the 95th minute of play. Şansal Usalan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mahmudiye FK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
