An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdulmelik Nizami in the 7th minute of play forced Sincanli's goalkeeper Türker Akın to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emirhan Mücip's late challenge caught a Sincanli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emirhan Mücip helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Kocatepe JK's Emirhan Mücip got a free kick in the 9th minute. Erenay Ulu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orhan Seyfi Tayguner in the 11th minute of the match. Birol Özilter who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Erenay Ulu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Abdulmelik Nizami took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Türker Akın. Türker Akın dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Orhan Seyfi Tayguner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Kocatepe JK fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Kocatepe JK's Abdulmelik Nizami looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mehmet Oğuz Vahit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Erenay Ulu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sincanli's Türker Akın played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdulmelik Nizami in the 40th minute of play. Türker Akın showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdulmelik Nizami, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. If Ali Kaan Açıkgöz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehmet Oğuz Vahit was extremely unlucky when he, in the 47th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orhan Seyfi Tayguner stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Sincanli booed when Kocatepe JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erhun İspirli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mehmet Oğuz Vahit struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Erenay Ulu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sincanli. In the 56th minute, Orhan Seyfi Tayguner made a precise shot to the right of Erenay Ulu. Kocatepe JK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Sincanli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mehmet Oğuz Vahit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Türker Akın made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Kaan Açıkgöz in the 78th minute of play. After 80 minutes, Mahir Karaman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kocatepe JK and the Sincanli players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sincanli booed when Kocatepe JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mahir Karaman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Türker Akın was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Abdulmelik Nizami showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 83 minute of play. Ali Kaan Açıkgöz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kocatepe JK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
