Karadeniz Akdoğu charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karadeniz Akdoğu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Karadeniz Akdoğu kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. The supporters of Gürgentep booed when Davutpasa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evren Biçimli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Faruk Nafiz Yaruk struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Aykut Şengil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Davutpasa. Aykut Şengil made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Evren Biçimli sent off a good shot on target. 16 minutes into the match, Gürgentep's goal looked a bit too open when Faruk Nafiz Yaruk came free, but Aykut Şengil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aykut Şengil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anıl Enver, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. When Evren Biçimli came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Davutpasa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evren Biçimli couldn't finish the play. 23 minutes into the game, Pars Perinçek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gökçe Yerel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 26 minutes, Efe Sazak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gürgentep and the Davutpasa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Şamil Ulu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evren Biçimli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aykut Şengil having to interfere. Gürgentep's Aykut Şengil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faruk Nafiz Yaruk in the 37th minute of play. Faruk Nafiz Yaruk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Aykut Şengil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Efe Sazak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Davutpasa's Faruk Nafiz Yaruk got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Evren Biçimli scored 1-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aykut Şengil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Thanks to some nice moves Pars Perinçek could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which Gökçe Yerel however easily saved by the left post. Evren Biçimli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Faruk Nafiz Yaruk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faruk Nafiz Yaruk in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aykut Şengil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Davutpasa's Faruk Nafiz Yaruk got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute Faruk Nafiz Yaruk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aykut Şengil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Evren Biçimli came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Davutpasa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evren Biçimli couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Davutpasa's zone, Pars Perinçek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gökçe Yerel came out of the goal and Pars Perinçek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 86 minutes, Anıl Enver mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Davutpasa and the Gürgentep players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anıl Enver hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Aykut Şengil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evren Biçimli in the 94th minute of play. When Çağatay Akdemir fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gürgentep's protests and gave Çağatay Akdemir a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th minute, one of Gürgentep:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gürgentep. The referee gave Davutpasa a penalty, 97 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Behçet Akbayrak, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Gürgentep's Aykut Şengil. 2-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Davutpasa fully deserved thier win.
