Anıl Mücahit Hattat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boğaçhan Ilıcan having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Balcova JK's goal looked a bit too open when Batıray Aysan came free, but Sufi Doğulu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sufi Doğulu made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Hayri Vural sent off a good shot on target. Anıl Mücahit Hattat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute Yılmaz Cihanmert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sufi Doğulu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hayri Vural got free with Sufi Doğulu in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Boğaçhan Ilıcan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baybora Çokay, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After having played for 26 minutes, Hayri Vural managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ceyhan SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hayri Vural was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Armağan Batı's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Boğaçhan Ilıcan was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. In the 34th play minute Hayri Vural came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sufi Doğulu. 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Ceyhan SK's Yılmaz Cihanmert slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sufi Doğulu. That made the score 4-0 after 49 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yılmaz Cihanmert was the one to do the kick off.
