The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Okanalp Tükelalp hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, TOKATSPOR SK's Arman Yavuzay got a free kick in the 10th minute. Arman Yavuzay's late challenge caught a Keban's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arman Yavuzay helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th minute, Arman Yavuzay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mümtazer Buyrukalp took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Armağan Enbiya. TOKATSPOR SK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ahmet Emir Varol had several of the TOKATSPOR SK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 15 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Armağan Enbiya as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Varol Toydeniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Songur Özakay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aybars Acarbey's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Ahmet Emir Varol's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Armağan Enbiya skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Varol Toydenizs short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Armağan Enbiya to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 30th minute Ahmet Emir Varol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armağan Enbiya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in TOKATSPOR SK's zone, Varol Toydeniz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armağan Enbiya came out of the goal and Varol Toydeniz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmet Emir Varol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Songur Özakay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Menderes Sanal in the 35th minute of play. TOKATSPOR SK's Armağan Enbiya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Emir Varol in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rdth minute of the game Ahmet Emir Varol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TOKATSPOR SK's Armağan Enbiya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Menderes Sanal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Songur Özakay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Aybars Acarbey might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Songur Özakay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aybars Acarbey ran back to his position shaking his head. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aybars Acarbey made a kick off. If Menderes Sanal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Aybars Acarbey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Songur Özakay was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Gazanfer Özcan Işıker hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Armağan Enbiya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Emir Varol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Varol Toydeniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armağan Enbiya having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Keban's Olcay Orkun Ülke got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 77th minute, Okanalp Tükelalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79thth minute of the game Aybars Acarbey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Keban's Songur Özakay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Songur Özakay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aybars Acarbey in the 81st minute of play. Armağan Enbiya stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Emir Varol's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Ahmet Emir Varol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armağan Enbiya having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
