Mümtaz Servet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anıl Arda Atabey took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sedat Ongut. Saraydüzü's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 28th minute, Rüknettin Atlıoğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Özgür Özçevik during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mümtaz Servet in the 49th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sedat Ongut prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmet Bülent Akansel made a kick off. When Cihangir Okergun fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saraydüzü's protests and gave Cihangir Okergun a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Saraydüzü's Cihangir Okergun got a free kick in the 54th minute.
