Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Latif Selami made the kick off which started today's match. After 5 played minutes Devrek got a freekick which was hit by Coşkun Aşık. Rıza Sadiray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Necaettin İrfanoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Bedri İnanır notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Gayrettepe's Fehmi Cesur. Fehmi Cesur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Devrek's Bedri İnanır got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Latif Selami sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Latif Selami scored 2-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fehmi Cesur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Devrek's Rıza Sadiray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arda Perker in the 35th minute of play. Necaettin İrfanoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rıza Sadiray having to interfere. Rıza Sadiray came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Gayrettepe's Arda Perker. But to his dismay, Arda Perker quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arda Perker stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fehmi Cesur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bedri İnanır, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bedri İnanır in the 58th minute of play forced Gayrettepe's goalkeeper Fehmi Cesur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Bedri İnanır quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. If Latif Selami had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Latif Selami in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fehmi Cesur saved Gayrettepe from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Gayrettepe's zone, Bedri İnanır stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fehmi Cesur came out of the goal and Bedri İnanır tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Latif Selami received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Fehmi Cesur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Coşkun Aşık received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. In the 85th match minute, Devrek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Coşkun Aşık to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Arda Perker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gayrettepe's supporters rose to their feet, but Arda Perker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rıza Sadiray breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arda Perker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Rıza Sadiray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Burak İstemihan fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Devrek's protests and gave Burak İstemihan a yellow card for diving instead. Burak İstemihan hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Bedri İnanır's late challenge caught a Gayrettepe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bedri İnanır helped the player get up and apologised. After 94 played minutes Devrek got a freekick which was hit by Bedri İnanır. In the 95th minute Arda Perker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rıza Sadiray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
